Virgin Mobile's mobile broadband offering uses te T-Mobile network so we expect performance to be similar. They claim speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps.

In tests T-Mobile's service has been consistently the fastest of the UK networks with average speeds reaching 2Mbps in some areas. Uploads speeds were reasonable too, averaging around 300Kbps - similar to the other networks in that respect
